DJT
What garbage! The whole point of replaying the first leg should be to favour Uzbekistan, yet now they got a worse result, as I feared might happen. Uzbekistan should ask to stick with the stupid refereeing mistake of the first leg! If this had happened in Europe then it would have been a huge scandal and I bet FIFA's decision would have been different. If it had happened in CONCACAF then it would have created quite a stir here since everyone likes slamming CONCACAF for everything. But as it is, has anyone even noticed??? I'm surprised there haven't been any comments.
DJT
There are only a few minutes to go (according to Livescore and FIFA, but they could be off) in Bahrain and it's still 0-0. Still up for grabs - go Uzbekistan!
DJT
And it ended 0-0. Bahrain advance on one away goal to none ((a goal they had not originally scored but had a second crack at thanks to the worst piece of refereeing I can think of and one of the stupidest FIFA rules/decisions I can think of - I just had to rant one more time [}])) to a playoff against either Guatemala or Trinidad & Tobago - we'll know which in a few hours. amacpher
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Uzbekistan were robbed. Although they had a game tonight and they didn't score. However, it really shouldn't have come down to this. And now they want to join UEFA perhaps and leave that joke of a confederation that is Asia... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=346512&cc=5901
Blue and White Army
They'd never qualify for the World Cup if they joined UEFA...
