A tough loss today for Nik Ledgerwood and 1860 Muenchen reserves as they drop a 2-0 decision to SC Feucht in the Regional League South. The reserves now drop into the relegation zone again with only a couple of games left in the opening round.

Tomorrow sees Paul Stalteri and Werder Bremen hosting Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Hopefully Paul and company can lay a beating on the struggling Dortmund team.

Sunday sees Julian de Guzman and Hannover 96 with a real test in hanging on to a spot in Europe in the Bundesliga as they host VfB Stuttgart.

Sunday also sees an injury and flu depleted 1.FC Saarbruecken travel to Munich to take on SpVgg Unterhaching in the Bundesliga 2.

Ryan Thomson may be back with the RW Essen amateurs. The main side take on Greuther Fuerth on Sunday in the Bundesliga 2.

Paul Stalteri and Werder Bremen beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Weser Stadium. They move up to 5th place, leapfrogging Arminia Bielefeld and Hannover 96 who are both in action tomorrow. Klasnic goes out early with a shoulder injury. Trivia for the day: Paul Stalteri has never had a straight red card in 132 Bundesliga appearances.

DeGuzman plays 90 as defender due to injuries in the squad as Hannover ties Stuttgart 0-0. They are in 5th place with Bremen in 6th.

Nsaliwa plays 90 for Saarbrucken as they defeat Unterhaching on the road 3-1. Saarbrucken is also currently in 5th place. Nsaliwa picks up a yellow card.

A good point earned by Hannover 96 as they stay up in a UEFA Cup spot with two games to go before the winter break. Julian in at left back for Tarnat outjumps Meissner (I think) of Stuttgart:

which gets the thumbs up from his coach:

I should also mention that Maycoll Canizales gets some press at the Hannover 96 website today. They briefly mention that he will be in only his 3rd game with the amateur side today as he is coming off an Achilles injury and subsequent rehab. Coach Lienen has already been impressed by the young Canadian's ability.

Good to hear. There's another guy I'd like to see get back into the national team program.
