stacks
How do you except the men's national team to do anything on a budget of 800,00 for next year. That is the same money that the u-20 womens team received this year. Hey maybe the men's team can pose nude on a calendar to raise money. (like the Aussie women's team). We can then get peschsoLITTLE back in the team, hah! THE LACK OF FUNDING IS A JOKE, FIRE ANDY SHARPE NOWWWWWWWW!
redhat
While your comments about the budget is true and appalling, I doubt players like Onstad and De Vos would agree with your "Fire Andy Sharpe" suggestion. The problem is the other guy, amongst other things ... As for the same money for the U19 (not U20) women's team, don't forget they had a world tournament in Thailand, where we were one of the favourites. The men's budget sucks though, and unfortunately a calendar isn't the answer either.

The Beaver
quote:Originally posted by canso can't see a woman like Karen Brady sticking with him for so long if he wasn't! Nah, just like soccer it ain't the size that matters, its what you do with the ball. Karen Brady is too smart to worry about size. [^]
Egan
Once again I am stunned you guys know so much about Aussie Football...like the women posing naked. You guys deffinately need more governmental support...swimming probably gets the most governmental support in the country in Australia.

G
Stephen Owen is the Minister of State (Sport). Through Sport Canada, he oversees the funding for the CSA and all National Sport programs. I sent him an e-mail about my concerns and he wrote me a letter in return. If you want to express yourself, send him an e-mail and include your full name and mailing address. owens@parl.gc.ca
truenorthsoccer
The CSA should get involved in a lottery of some sort to raise funds for the nats. I believe the Canucks of the NHL have their own scratch tickets, the CSA should give it a go ,it can't hurt could it?
