Isbrant
Does anyone have aproximate travel costs for the various Canadian A-League teams to play eachother? For example, what it would cost Vancouver to go to Toronto to play the Lynx. Thanks Devon
Kelly
if they fly figure a full rate airline ticket for 25 (try getting a discount from the airlines). Hotels rooms and in city transport. I'd say- 15K for the entire trip.
Cooks
I can't see a team travelling with more than a compliment of 20, but I also calculate approximately $15,000 for the trip.
Christian B.
I agree with the 15K figures. 20 x Approx. $500= $10,000.00 airfares 10 hotel rooms (2 persons by room) @ Approx$115= $2,300.00 + Meals +Transport expenses in Toronto (Location of a mini-van, Insurance, Gaz, Taxis, Etc.) Polish_LYNX_Fan
quote:Transport expenses in Toronto (Location of a mini-van, Insurance, Gaz, Taxis, Etc.) quote: transport expences in toronto???? if you are refering to the ride from Pearson Airoprt to centenial you are dead wrong. Its like a 5-7 min drive. it will cost them more to get from Pearson north to York when teh stadium does get built.
coppercanuck
I was under the impression that the home team paid for the hotel (or worked hotels for a deal) and provided the transportation. It was kinda the nice thing the host does. Does someone closer to the team operations know differently?
Daniel
The Impact have an official hotel sponsor, and I think that's where the teams stay (probably at minimal cost to the home team).

Daniel
The sponsor is Hôtel Suites Le Faubourg, on the Deux-Montagnes lake.
François
It's actually the Hotel-Suites Le Faubourg on Rene Levesque BLVD East. The away team uses this hotel when visiting Montreal. Very few impact players stay there since all the «foreigners» stay closer to the training facilities in Lachine.
