Jim Brennan has travelled with Norwich's first team to Newcastle for tonight's Carling Cup match. With a bit of luck, we may see him in the line-up!

Brennan is not even on the bench for this Carling Cup match. They are behind Newcastle 1-0 in the first half. Newcastle has 5 regular starters on the bench, but Norwich has apparently decided to largely use its A-team.

It sure would be nice to know exactly what is happening to Brennan. Is he completely off-form? Is he clinically depressed? Is he injured? Has he completely p*ssed off the managaer, who is waiting to trade him in January?[?]

Jim Brennan has been playing well for Norwich reserves in the EPL reserve league. He was Man of the Match (descriptor "pacey Brennan impresses") on October 12 in a 2-1 win over Ipswich reserves. One goal coming off a deflected shot of his. Has also played at least vs Tottenham and Chelsea reserves since September (not a bad standard of opposition compared to A-league)

Stamatopolous on the bench due to a sore back. It will be interesting to see where 'Super Kenny' ends up.

Well it seems like IFK Norrköping, classic swedish club that finished 4th in the 1st division just missing promotion, are interested. Kenny is visiting the club this week. "He was one of the few players in Enköping that played up to premier division standard last year", Norrköping manager Michael Andersson tells a local newspaper. Andersson continues "He's had his ups and downs this season, but played very well in the two matches against us. He is a quality keeper."
