fza
I`m listening to RAdio Columbia from Costa Rica and they interviewed Olivier Occean and HE confirmed Canada`s starting 11 for tonight_: 1)Pat Onstad 2)Mark Watson 3)Gervais 4)Ante 5)Atiba 6)De Guzman 7)Hume 8)Imhof 9)DeRo 10) SANDRO Grande 11)Radzinski The formation Canada will use tonight isn`t known but with the list of players we have will give us an idea. David C.
By the look of this line-up, it would appear to me that Pesch would be number 10. If so, that would leave us with Occean, Simpson, Peters, Grande and Hirschfeld on the bench.
Jarrek
10) Olivier Occean Why isn't he starting? I'd rather have him in there instead of Pesch or the unproven Grande.

David C.
I believe that Grande is a defensive midfielder but one of the Impact supporters could offer a more accurate response than I can.

Massive Attack
I thought you guys might get a kick out of this line up I found on a CR newspaper's website: http://www.diarioextra.com/2004/setiembre/08/images/dep01.jpg
Lord Bob
The Score is listing Occean as out with a shoulder injury, which may explain why he's not in the starting eleven. EDIT: Correction, I misread as it just flashed by. Serioux is out. I feel dumb.

Daniel
Grande is a defensive midfielder. It looks like: Onstad Atiba-Gervais-Watson-Jazic Then it gets sketchy, depending on who of Grande or Pesch plays because that would place Dero on the wing or up front. Grande plays a similar position to Imhoff.
DJT
He may be a defensive midfielder but he makes lots of good offensive plays, and takes all of Montreal's free kicks.

fza
Looks like they`re freaking out with Radz...that formation is accurate because the Ticos will be seeing Radz all over the place!

Cheeta
Hmm. Imhof at center half? With Watson? Least amount of disturbance in the back line? Crazy enough it might work. Hume and Simpson running like mad and The Guz as destroyer? Pesch and Peters on the bench. Occean as the target and Radz covering every inch of the pitch in a sort of Gord Strachan like fashion? Ooooooh. I'm getting a good feeling about this. She could get real wild and wooly tonight. God. I wish Big Kev wasn't hobbled...
fza
I`m listening to Frank Yallop right this minute and the journalist asked him if he was going to start the 11 I posted above and he said: "WE MIGHT"

Daniel
I hope this is what the CR team is expecting, because this roster is completely ludicrous!
nolando
Gervais was pretty solid-much better than Hutch, and a bonus with his height on set pieces. Nacho wasn't bad either given he was playing the Imhof type role of an invisible defensive mid. You're not supposed to see much of these guys if they are doing their job properly. Occean should have started with Deguzman off and a whole switch in mid to make an attacking three.
