So when did you first figure out that ref had been turned? For me it Was at the play where DeRosario got the yellow, when a dangerous turn over was nulified by an phantom foul. Dwayne got the yellow for bouncing (pounding) the ball intot he turf in frustration. The yellow was warranted given the reaction but the call was so obviously more than merely a poor CONCACAF ref.

Yes boys, I used the word fixed. Was it the Honduran Soccer Feeederation collecting part of their quid pro quo for throwing their qualifier with Mexico the last go around, or simply a wealthy Honduran business man purchasing the ref? I don't know. But there is no question in my mind that something shady was was up.

I thought during the game that it seems obvious at time that the hondurans were diving, but the ref continue to call foul against Canada on those play.......and the last 2 calls were exactly the same........

You are totally correct Gordon. This isn't about a "bad call", but about corrupt officiating.

The ref basically eliminated us, so a stand must be taken or it will continue to happen again, and again, and again,..etc

Filing a formal protest is a waste, as we have been down that road too many times to count. Blackballing the ref accomplishes nothing.

Canada would seriously be better off throwing the rest of our matches in protest by sending a semi-pro team. FIFA could take no action against us, and the only result would be dropping in FIFA rankings (which will basically happen anyways).

If FIFA and CONCACAF won't take it seriously then why should our players sacrifice their club careers by being present ? Why should the public get fleeced by buying tickets ? if I was a corporate sponsor of the CSA I would seriously re-consider. Do they want to participate/sponsor a farce ?

Last night was a total disgrace and the CSA MUST insure it never happens again.

Just watched the match again. Absolutely surprising how often an initial Hondurian tug, wrap around, flying elbow, or knee bump was missed but the Canadian battling got called for toughing through it.

Watch the de Rosario caution for a beautiful example, and only one of dozens.

Until that last 10-15 minutes I put it down to the usual incompetence and bias, but now I'm quite sure it's something more sinister.

Okay the penalty was given. And it would have been a safe call for most ref's as a penalty wouldn't have caused the offending side to directly loose the match, but that would be taking the previous 80 minutes out of content.

But the Occean disallowed goal? Unbelievable. To hear the Hondurian manager justifying both just makes him look like an ass. Occean had his foot up he said. Well the defender had his foot up a bit higher stupid and Occean never touched your bitch so piss off.

Shocked that this match didn't finish 4-3. There were some chances out there.

Radzinski complained about the CSA not spending enough money to bring the European players over in first class. Yallop said that more money needs to be spent in creating a homegrown league.

After last night's game, the reality is that if Canada wants to make up ground in CONCACAF, we need to spend more money on acting and diving lessons, and on bribing referees.

Assuming the President and Vice Presidents of CONCACAF aren't also on somebody's payroll, you can voice your displeasure with the reffing in this region directly to them through email. I encourage everyone to do this, so hopefully this ref is never allowed to officiate a game of this magnitude again. The email addresses for the top CONCACAF officials are:

Even tho we played bad against Guatemala the ref still had the fix in for that game! He's just didn't need to do anything beyond make basic calls.

The same thing in the Belize series, only thing he could do in that series was give some yellow cards to Hume and then a red card!

Everytime we get a Latin American ref we get shafted!

We get a Trinidad Ref against Costa Rica on Wednsday and an American ref against Honduras on October 9th. Maybe they will at least call it fair! Not counting on the Trinidad Ref tho, but hopefully will blow Costa Rica out!

We get a Jamaican ref back in Van against Costa Rica and then they haven't picked the ref for the final Guatemala game. Maybe will get lucky and get the American ref again!

I want to find the emails of these refs, to send them pictures of dives!

Go back further Gordon - to the high boot against De Rosario that wasn't called at the 9 minute mark just outside the box as he was charging in on goal (somewhat "ironic" shall we say given the call on Occean or shall we say criminal?)

Why do Canadians think everone is out to get them, otr they are being cheated? First off at the last winter olympics our figure skaters in the dance/pairs whinned and cried cause they took second place and wanted gold so the IOC gave into the crybabies. And know this with the Mexican offical, enough already,we lost the match cause we are not good enough at this level. And thats it.
