Guest Dave
According to the CSA, the team was supposed to start arriving in Edmonton last night, and is supposed to be practising right now. I'm assuming that the Euro contingent who didn't play yesterday are already with the team, but I may be wrong. If only the North American based guys are there, not much point in training today. Was anyone from Edmonton able to make it to practice today to see who's in town, who's in form etc? Of course the other big question is, will Radz show up. He should be on a plane somewhere right now. Too bad there isn't some way of checking with the airlines to find out who is actually on a flight. If anyone has any info or speculation as to whether Tomek actually managed to find his way to the airport this time, please post it. Finally, the big worry, as usual, is who is or has picked up a knock. I guess time will tell on that front. At least, there's been no bad news so far. Of course the boys haven't had a chance this time around to have an encounter with our wonderful publically funded health care system, not yet anyway. VI
I heard Josh Simpson arrived Monday afternoon. No Adrian Serioux though. Hume, Radzinski, Pesch, JDV are all supposed to arrive tonight.
Gordon
Excellent: 3 whole days to practice together. Things are looking much better than they did for the Guatemala game .

MikeD
Oh crap, why would Simpson have arrived and not Serioux? I hope Serioux's not injured or something.

I wondered that at first too. Perhaps Serioux stopped over in Toronto to take care of some personal business, since he basically just got up and left for Millwall without much notice. Probably tying up some loose ends. Maybe his brother can chime in here... [?]

beachesl
Article in the Journal this morning (Wednesday) said nine arrived yesterday in time for Tuesday's training session at Victoria, and that the other nine should all be here today. No details as to who when.
Guest Dave
Well, no press releases from the CSA. That probably means nothing unexpected/bad happened to the roster. For example, I was worried about a press release something like: "Tomasz Radzinski is suffering from a severe hangnail and has been advised by team physicians to stay with his club side. His roster position will be filled by Nick Dasovic." No news is good news.
