29/8 - Montreal-Richmond - VC trophy presented [R]

This match is on RDS, CKAC (French).

Prior to the match the Voyageurs Cup trophy was to be presented to the Impact by Bxl boy, Daniel and François.

I didn't hear the whole pre-game broadcast, but just prior to kickoff the CJAD commentators said that, with "no one really paying attention", the "Eastern Conference cup" was lifted by Mauro Biello. Is there even such a thing as an "Eastern Conference cup"? Well, either that was actually the Voyageurs Cup or the commentators failed to mention the presentation of two different trophies. Evidently they were amongst those who weren't paying attention. [V]

This is 1 vs. 2 in the east, but the game means nothing in the standings as the positions are set and the teams are not fielding their first-string lineups. Nevertheless, there's apparently another huge crowd at CCR. A huge banner was unfurled over the fans (I'm sure we'll see pictures).

But in a totally anonymous in a very bad moment and on the athletics track (!)

But before the game, painting for a sponsor were announced with so much loud and a so good moment

Sponsor are so more important than sport victories...
