As much as I echo your sentiments CC, I'm sure there was a better way or going about that.

Regardless, exactly what inspired your loving choice of words for the new resident troll? :D

EDIT: I just realized that you have the same message posted on 4 or 5 threads. There must be a really good story behind this.

Current Champ, please stop. I have not read through all these threads, but from what I can tell soccerbeast is not breaking any rules of the forum, but you are (and to make things worse, you've done so in several threads). If you don't like what soccerbeast has to say then tell him once (without the threats) and then ignore him. Thank you.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish by telling the voyageurs that a few southsiders are considering leaving the board (again)?

Didn't the origial post have "Voyageurs" in the place of "Southsiders"?

quote:few southsiders are considering leaving the board (again)?

What does that mean? How many southsiders post on these boards and how many have left the board in the past? Just me, and I haven't been involved in any private messages about leaving the board.

Ouch this coming from a western canadian were there's more space in

your peoples heads then on the whole praries.:D The whole team was

negitive, there was no effort to defeat a third world country like

guatemala. The team needs new leadership as far as a manager goes,

and we need to dump certain players, Onstad, Raz, Pesch, and get on with

building a team towards qualifying for South africa 2010, cause germany 2006 is gone it died at the hands of Guatemala. And where

did i try to be funny? im serious, Me ccome out to western canada,

no i don't like slumming, thank you very much.

Please everyone, do not bother responding to SB. He's entitled to his opinion

despite the lack of positive content.

SB can start preparing for South Africa 2010, but for most of us, we should continue

supporting the players who show up for Canada everytime (De Vos, Stalteri, De Guzman,

Jazic, Pesch, etc.). Win or lose.

Was Pesch not one of those players who threw a tantrum when Holger

was in charge and refused to play until he was canned by the CSA?

So please don't say he shows up for canada everytime?

You don't get it. A player flies in from England, Russia, Germany,

or whereever. That's some commitment. Regarding Pesch's problems

with Holger, that doesn't substantiate YOUR lack of support for the

team evident with your advocacy for preparing for 2010 instead. It's

really not over yet.

I agree with your disappointment. But rather than b_itch about things

I rather do something more constructive that I can do.

Redhat.... Can you honestly say you believe Canada still has a chance

to advance? WE got outplayed and out work by Guateamla for **** sake,

at home yet, now the teams get tougher, can you see any light at the end of the tunnel?

As much as I want Canada to make it to WC 2006 as a fan of Canadian soccer, I want it so much more now just to shut this ****ing moron up.

Rudi............we could win the rest of the WCQ matches (highly

doubtful) I would still request the CSA look for a new manager

and drop certain players cause for the long term of canadian football they are a disaster.

Us Westerners did not take SoccerBeast's comments as indicative of the rest of you cool cats living in the East and Maritimes and Newfieland. In fact, the way he spells and articulates himself, I sort of suspect SoccerBeast isn't even from this country. Or, to be clear, I do not think he really "feels" Canadian, which makes him a helluva lot more like his hero Walter Hosiek (see "Fire Yallop" for clarification on that one.)

I agree with the sentiment that we should simply ignore SoccerBeast. yes, this is not a Christian tactic, nor is it particularly "Canadian", but why fuss over a poster who has no respect for the current campaign and for the players and staff dedicated to this campaign? He's lost sight of what is important now, and forgets that the best preparation for 2010 is qualifying for 2006.

You're going to tell Jason De Vos that it's all over? Or Paul Stalteri?

Or would you instead support them? They represent our country

and you crap all over them. Great guy you are. :(

Okay wait up, soccerbeast, this is a serious question...

Are you from South America? ie; Costa Rica, Guatemala, or Honduras?

Just wondering, cus you must not be from Canada with your lack of information about the MNT, your poor grammar, etc. etc.

September 7th 2002 Greece lose their first Euro qualifyer to Spain 2 nil.

October 12th 2002 Greece lose their 2nd Euro qualifyer to the Ukraine 2 nil.

At that point in their journey to make it to Portugal I'd imagine that not too many people gave them much of a chance to advance.

Funny thing sports. You're always being judged on your most recent results.

Things turned out OK for the Greeks,I'd say.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This clown (soccerbeast) is not a Canadian soccer fan, but probably an opposing fan. Every thread he starts has no purpose but to cause dissension in the Canadian ranks.

Good point. I never thought of that. Either that or he would be the most fickle supporter ever.

Yes im a Canadian supporter, got the jersays ,scarves, etc, was at the last WCQ match in Toronto against Mexico, we i got seeds spitted at me by the Mexican support. I watch every Canadian game that sportsnet shows, except womens soccer havn't got time for that ****e. Born Canadian. sorry im not the greatest keyboarder but life goes on.

Im not here to cause dissensiion but to wake up other canadian fans

who think we still have a chance. You can't lose a home game against

the likes of Gueatemala and expect to advance to the next round, more

than go to the world cup. The Canadian showed no effort against Guatemala, they looked lost and confused against a team thats mediocre at best. Now the team sits idle until the next match, which

is still a week or so away. So again i ask whats there to be positive

about, no one seems to be able to answer that question?
