Curtis Armada
KNOW THY ENEMY. South American teams eat up our midfield consistently because they don’t normally use their wings. They flood the middle and their backs overlap on the wings. Our midfield gets overwhelmed because of the numbers plus our wingers are useless especially when they cannot control the ball or put any kind of pressure going down the wings. Keep it simple and utilize the 3-5-2 formation which would be more effective vs South American teams. Get rid of your selection of old farts, they aren’t helping the team right now and they definitely cannot help the team in the future. Bye Bye Onstad, Watson & Pesch I did not choose Devos and McKenna to start because they are slow Although Peters injected some energy in the last game, Jaime is inexperience especially at the defensive part of the game If Paul perform the same way he did vs Guatamela, I will quickly sub him off for Nsaliwa GK Lars Defense Jazic Menenez Stalteri Def Mid Serioux Imhoff Brennan Attack Mid Hume DeGuzman Forward Radz Ocean Sub Devos McKenna DeRo Nsaliwa Bircham Hutchinson Bernier We received a rude awakening but all is not lost, I truly believe we still have a chance. Let's get back to the drawing board and put our best foot forward.

Desigol
It looks like Radz may not make it. See previous post. De Roasrio is better anyway. I'd still pick 4-4-2 however. Lars Stalteri Reda Devos Brennan Bircham Hutchinson DeGuzman Simpson De Rosario Hume Subs; Franks McKenna Jazic Imhoff Ocean Peters Nsaliwa

nolando
Senor Armada, apart from an Ecuador game in 1999 and Brazil at Confederation's, we don't play South American teams- the bulk of our opposition comes from Central America.
