Some might see that as being bad news & cynical, but if they are now both healthy enough to play at least there is the possibility they will be in Edmonton for the next match. If they have long-term injuries they won't be. And we need both in the starting line-up against Honduras.

Simpson and Serioux play the whole match in a 0-1 win for Millwall over Coventry.

If you can interpret this, then good on ya:

78:35 Goal - Daniele Dichio

Coventry 0-1 Millwall.

Foul by Michael Doyle (Coventry) on Adrian Serioux (Millwall). Free kick taken right-footed by Dennis Wise (Millwall) from right channel, headed goal by Daniele Dichio (Millwall) (low centre of goal) from left side of penalty area (6 yards).Coventry 0-1 Millwall. Assist (cross) by Adrian Serioux (Millwall) from right channel.

Then again, the text commentary also says:

86:06

Cross by Calum Davenport (Coventry), save (caught) by Adrian Serioux (Millwall).

In the DFB Pokal:

Stalteri playes 90 as Werder beats Jahn Regensburg 2-0. Not a great result considering Regensburg plays in the 3rd tier and Werder Bremen played a pretty full strength squad.

Nsaliwa played 90 as FC Saarbrücken lost 4-1 to FC Köln.

In the EPL, Brennan is nowhere to be seen for Norwich against Manure.

Did they even show a subsitution list for Norwich? I don't get this Brennan mystery at all, especially not after all of the pre-season reports that metnioned him having a fair crack at his earned spot. It's almost as if there's a "personal" issue that isn't being leaked to the press.

Pesch comes on for Derby in the 55th minute, with a 0-2 lead over QPR, and that's how it ends.

No Bircham.

Horrendous bit of football that was, well, at least from the QPR point of view. Was at the game and fans are not too optimistic as they have not spent money and it seems are not ready for the new division. Derby looked much better, got their goals and then just absorbed the local attack. Pesch, well it is interesting the comments he gets, oh, right, he's still around. QPR fans are still getting to know their rivals and he is a player that they know, get the impression he is one of those lower division classics. Also saw a few Derby fans with Pesch shirts on in the Tube afterwards.

No Bircham but the word is that they have a full squad, meaning he should be ready.

In the Tippligaen, Norwegian champion RBK is up on second place Tromso, 1-0 at the half.

Bernier has started for Tromso.

RBK beat Tromso 3-0 in front of over 20,000. Bernier plays the full match for Tromso in the middle, and is ranked their best player.

Meaning he's ready........and possibly that he's lost his place!?
