Dante79
Now that we lost at home, Canada must win both games at home vs Honduras and Costa Rica tie 1 away and win 1 away! that will give us 10 pts! this is the only way we can have chances to qualify to the HEX! Reza
Yeah that pretty much sums it up. In WCQ, you never lose at home, but if you do, there is still a chance. The only good thing is that CR also lost at home. This is a relatively even group which is slightly different than the one we were in 4 years ago. Back then, Mexico was a given. No one stands a chance in Azteca and that was 9 points. This time around it's a bit different. Looks like Honduras is the class of the group, but even then Central American teams have a tendency to peak and drop very quickly so it's hard to say. The Edmonton match is super crucial. Canada must win. After that, really anything is possible.
Lord Bob
Yes, we can get to the hex. We won't, not the way our momentum took a a hit last night. But we can, if the side plays to their ability. Yeah, right.
soccerbeast
Fire Yallop thats the only way forward, Let Tony Waiters or Bruce wilson or both take over, then we might have a chance.
Dante79
10 pts that means we have to be almost perfect! friends tell me am crazy but I really believe that its possible!
kokanne
15 points still up for grabs. We need to play friendlies so we can gel and we need to make sure the players playing can play well together. Also fix the backline.
Andrew W
To bounce back we need to pool some money together and offer it to one of the MLS scrubs to take Onstad out between now and then. Not that I'd advocate extreme measures. I'm just kidding. Honest!

I agree that we should play more friendlies! and I always said that Canada doesnt play enough of them!...... 15 points means we win all our games ! tough ! of coarse not impossible! but with 10 pts we should be ok but its the minimum hope we get more! kokanne
We should start touring Europe and play games over there, just before we play out here again. only 2 players wouldn't be able to make that tour and thats De Rosario and Onstad. It sucks that you have to do that but most of our players ply their trade in Europe. And all the starters except for De Rosario right now. Simpson, Serioux already in europe, well Peters is pretty much a done deal. Maybe some of the English clubs would play friendlies on there home grounds that would certainly help prepare us for facing the Central Americans on their home turf. Timotas
Won't be able to find any friendlies with club teams now. Leagues have already begun. Kinda late now to tour Europe, maybe next summer.
Dante79
We have to find friendlies against other CONCACAF countries and South america
argh1
Okay , like most I've rationalized the last game away. I also am no soccer expert as to which players to chose or tactics to employ. All I ask is.....play like you care if you win or lose . I can accept losing but not trying c'mon . Maybe Yollap should get a motivational dude for the next game . My only suggestion . The one part of the game I haven't recovered from is I had a temper tantrum and threw my pipe in the basement where I was watching the game and I can't find it. I just filled the bowl .
