nolando
Following up from Ian's report yesterday.. Talked to JDV, who was there watching in Canadian gear, and he said this injury has "been a nightmare, a complete nightmare." Great to see him here. Are we sure he was injured in Britain? If so that is an incredible sign of devotion to the side. You can bet that Rad won't be around. JDV told me there re no further injuries. Occean looked lethal. Simpson looked lethargic. DD looked to be recovered. Serioux, who didn't exert himself much, might be taking a break after his recent play as he was sitting around a lot. He told me in a brief chat that he is fine. I can't help but think that Biello and Watson have no place being here, but kudos to them for showing up given the necessity. Watson and Stalteri look to be close buddies- They left together chatting, their shared affinity for swearing has perhaps blossomed into a friendship. Forrest looks like he would love to still be on the team. He was playing around with the guys, kicking it around (looking very middle-aged in yellow and white golf gear) with Occean for quite a while and even taking some (pretty accurate) shots on net. Dobson talked with Simpson for long while and the kid again was the center of a lot of attention- I'm not sure if it's all such a good thing at this point, as the kid is suddenly under a whole heap of pressure- night and day different from the easy-breezy circumstances under which he one his place for ther MNT and his transfer to Millwall. Peters and DD took right winger-duties, with Peters taking more balls by far. He should play (and many Voyageurs will eat their words if he does). Peters lloks much betgter there. I still say DD should play striker or attacking mid exclusively. Valente was hanging around- would prefer him to Biello uinless he's injured. Half a dozen latinos floating about, Guatemalans presumably, although there should be a Honduran or two in attendance tomorrow. One fellow did a hilarious looking interview, perhaps on live radio, with Yallop where he talked into a cell phone and then had Yallop talk into the same phone to answer the questions. Again, a very summer picnic atmosphere that will probably be very different come training day for the Costa Rica match. Yallop's Summer Fun Days will likely be a distant memory come October. No hint of a starting lineup that I saw.

El Hombre
FSW report had a bit on the training camp towards the end of their hour (roughly 3/4 into it). You can probably catch it again when they replay it tonight/tomorrow morning. Mostly about Josh though. The good thing about their report was that they showed some highlights that I think were from the Millwall and Hearts games which I hadn't had a chance to see prior to this.
