Guest Ed
Tam Nsaliwa is subbed out midway through the second half as his 1.FC Saarbrucken lose 2-1 to MSV Duisburg in Bundesliga 2 action today.
Joe05
Brennan didn't even make the bench for Norwich according to Sky Sports match centre
Cheeta
Rhian Dodds starts for Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. MacDonald scores a header from a corner to put Kili up 1-nil but Hartson comes back to net one off the post a minute later. Kili-1 Celtic-1. Kili realy quite keen from the sound of it. beachesl
quote:Originally posted by Joe05 Brennan didn't even make the bench for Norwich according to Sky Sports match centre ...and according to BBC. Norwich Green , Helveg , Fleming , Charlton , Drury , Jonson , Holt , Francis , Bentley , Huckerby , Svensson Subs: Ward , McKenzie , Edworthy , McVeigh , Jarvis So Worthington has Brennan by the sortandcurlies so much, he won't let him go even if his role at the club is to be an undressed reserve! Cheeta
Radz. starts up front with Cole as Fulham are down 1-nil to Manchester City. Collins John's out there too in advanced mid. I'd imagine. Pretty attacking line up but Fowler's got the only goal so far. Halftime.

Perhaps there is more to this story. I still have the feeling that Yallop doesn't rate Brennan, and didn't want him in the squad.
Cheeta
Kili-2 Celtic-3 at the half and Kilmarnock in deep as Lilley gets sent off for an inopportune handball at the half-time whistle. Kili's been hard done by and Dodds is invisible. As for Brennan, wondering maybe if he's picked up a knock? (Should see my basement. Celtic match on the radio. CBC match tracker humming away and I'm watching the Villa-Saints match on Sportsnet)
marcl_19
If brennen's healthy then im pretty ticked. I was all for his exclusion ONLY if it was to give him time to get some club appearances and solidify his spot there. I dont think he should be a player simply dropped by yallop. Not because he's in the premier league, but because he's simply a really good player for us.

A bit too early to jump to this conclusion - it's more likely that a) Brennan is hurt; or Yallop rates Brennan lower than Simpson at left mid. The plot is definitely thickening though. sstackho
Man City 1-1 Fulham Radz taken out in the 79th minute. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/3553170.stm Collins John over-shadowed his new strike partners Andy Cole and Tomasz Radzinski to earn Fulham a point. ... Fulham had their new strike force of Cole and Radzinski on show, but they barely had a kick as City dominated. But in a rare attack, Fulham snatched an undeserved equaliser after 55 minutes. Claus Jensen's cross found John unmarked, and the young Dutch striker had time and space to turn and score past the flat-footed David James. sstackho
Potential bad news. DeRo not on the bench for San Jose today, due to a stomach virus that hit yesterday. It was bad enough that they moved his roommate, so he wouldn't get sick. Hopefully he'll be fit for Wednesday.
