I'm also up for gathering in Toronto. I'm not against Scallywags, but I don't prefer going all the way up to the top patio (although I think we've done that because we've had some minors), because then we're all tucked away and don't get any "walk-by" traffic, if you know what I mean.

It's a small point, but it's nice to let the casual sports fan that there are people interested in the game, and possibly get them turned on to Canadian soccer.

Well, It usually turn out to be scallywags because its the most centrally located and most accessable to most. Renna is actually better IMO but is not accessible for those without a car. So yeah, Im up for it. agree about the upstairs part. But unlike the past games we saw there, this game is in august not in the winter, so even if we do end up there and on the patio, it won't be so bad. Or if we end up downstairs, we'll get the giant screen.

So Yeah, I'm up for it. anyone else?

Montréal has a CanAm final (in theory) at 7pm. So we should be watching the game after the Impact one at the Pub du Métro, corner Crémazie and Lajeunesse, facing the A.L. Van Houtte at Crémazie metro.

We should invite the fans in Montreal to come watch the game!

Yeah, Overtime is good. I've had my makeover so the girls there won't know what hit them. Now if only I had enough money to buy them a drink...

Better wear your Newcastle kit again.. :D Otherwise we might not recognize you~

The real bad news is that I just found out that before Canada-Guatemala scheduled at 10h00 PM Eastern time next Wednesday on Sporstnet they will broadcast a baseball game between the Blue Jays and the Red Sox. When you know how long a baseball game can last don't be surprised if we get a tape delayed WCQ game like when Canada played Belize and we had to watch a Nascar race for about 30 minutes AFTER the actual game had started.

I have a feeling that the Blue Jays will play a few innings of overtime on August 18th.

Hard to be a canadian soccer fan.

Let's go Canada!!!!!!

Hey guys, long time lurker here. I recently moved to Montreal and would be down for watching the game somewhere if others were.

What's going on with the Can-Am Cup final anyways? The Lynx website mentions rescheduling a game against Virginia Beach resulting in: "The Can-Am Cup final originally scheduled for August 18th will have to rescheduled also as a result."

Speaking of the Impact, I had a chance to attend my first game last Friday vs. Vancouver. Great stuff - 11,000 out to witness a match between too strong Canadian teams.

I guess the only way we can watch the game live is buy going to a bar that will show the game by satelite! Champs is one on st-laurent! or la brasseri au coin du metro beside Henri Bourassa metro!
