Sudbury Canadians Get First USL Win

Sudbury soccer fans have gone wild as the Sudbury Canadians pull off their first win in 12 tries. The Canadians upset New Hampshire with two late goals to take the game - three to two.

Canadians took the lead in the first half but Phantoms fought back to takeover the lead 2-1. The Canadians played hard and their persistance paid off with late goals from Megan Schutt and Lauren Podolski.

Canandians employed eight U17 players who were being scouted by NCAA scouts at both the New Hampshire and Rochester games.

Canadians now head to Rochester for a Sunday contest with the Ravens -6 pm start.
