Gian-Luca Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 Paul mentioned that he thinks he can probably help Canada more in midfield but in discussions with Yallop knows that his position on the nats may vary depending upon the opposition. Mentioned that he, Hargreaves & De Guzman have started to obtain respect for Canadian soccer in Germany, and he keeps in touch with both during the year (though he made a note that he doesn't see Hargreaves at international matches, of course). Looking forward to next year but notes it will be tiring with international duty, champions league & bundesliga play. At the club level, he didn't sound too convinced that Klose will be able to replace Ailton's 28 league goals.
