Final Score:......Toronto Inferno...........0...............Ottawa Fury.............4.........

Attendance was about 120 on this warm day.

Fury put the game away with three goals in a five minute span in the first half although they were a threat the entire game. Leisha Alcia earned the shutout but didn't have to do to much. The defenders worked in some pass backs to give her the touch of the ball. An Inferno blast into the net at the 40 minute mark was called back as offside. Inferno goalie Anne Ogudele and a good defensive work by the backline kept the game from going into double digits as the Fury attacked in wave after wave holding possession for much of the game.

Ottawa Fury have on their roster former Inferno players starting goalie Leisha Alcia, starting midfielder Diana Matheson and back up defender Robin Gayle. They run their record to a perfect 7-0 and would be top four W-League playoff finalists even if they didn't draw a bye for being the hosts of this year's tournament.

Inferno again had the luxury of having five substitutes on their bench and used three of them. In the pressbox keeping stats was Inferno's new signing Chiara Greco from Hamilton who will play in the midfield. Her father is Valdi Greco who played professionally including time on Hamilton Steelers of the Canadian Soccer League. He was part of a special Father's Day penalty kick contest with three other Inferno soccer dads. The contest was eventually won by Steve Lincoln, the father of midfielder Holly Lincoln. It was the Fury who kept their starting eleven in for the whole game.

Inferno's next game is next Saturday night at 7:00pm at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan against Sudbury Canadians.
