Impact supporter Posted June 14, 2004 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Boston 4 - Montreal 1 Montreal's lone goal came on a PK from Amy Walsh 2 Boston goals came on breakaways and the Montreal defense was split. This was the Montreal debut for goalie Stacey van Boxmeer. Rough outing for her. Veroniqe Maranda and Josee Belanger came on in the 2nd half but they were tired having played with the national team. Considering the entire Boston starting 11 played a full 90 minute game against the Ottawa Fury losing 6-0. Just goes to show how good some W-leaguers are.
