matthew
The Ticos have a lot of yellow cards which may help us out down the line: Marin, Castro, Centeno, Gomez and Chinchilla are all on yellows. Guatemalans won't be missing anyone for our opener, but Pezarozzi, Chen and Thompson are all on yellows. The first two would be big losses. Would have been nice to get the upset, but I guess this shows the central American teams aren't invincible at home. If Cuba can draw in Costa Rica, there's no reason we can't do the same. cheers, matthew

Winnipeg Fury
Bermuda currently leads El Salvador 2-1 at home, half-time. The series is now completely tied, next goal should take it.
Winnipeg Fury
Bermuda 2- 2 ES in the 48th minute via PK. Bermuda down to 10 men, upset looking unlikely.

SABuffalo786
Eh, dodgy penalty to Grenada after Landon and Wolff put the series away with two early goals. A monsoon came in and the pitch turned into a giant swimming pool. Beasely got our third and they caught us snoozing on the ensuing kick-off. I was expecting them to get at least one goal from run of play, and they did. The USA controlled the play (as much as they could with the friggin Hurricane in the first half)and Grenada never really did look like challenging. I'm satisfied, we got the result and that's all that matters. No need to go all out and try to put 10 past them, with guys getting injured. beachesl
To end the preliminary rounds of CONCACAF, Mexico hammers another 8 goals against little Dominca, for a 18-0 aggregate, in the cool rain of Aguascalientes.
beachesl
It's about 600 kms to the Northwest of Mexico City, in the Sierra Madre Occidentale mountains. It is a famous mountain resort that was a popular place for rich Americans to visit by train, mainly because of the horse track, in 1920's and early 1930's before they legalized track betting in the US again. It means "Hot Springs" in Spanish.
Gian-Luca
So, has Mexico scored enough goals to put them in first in the FIFA rankings?
Free kick
Just noticed that JB Nusum (Ber)/Lynx is still the top scorer in Concacaf WCQ. I am assuming that the stats have not yet been updated to include the Mexico games. With an 18-0 aggregate I am sure that one or more Mexicans are now on top.
