AJ
Julian DeGuzman is a big factor with the Canadian national team. Depending on his health will decide whether Canada will advance to the early stages of the world cup 2006 qualifiers. Mr. DeGuzman was just recently named the 41st best midflieder in the entire 1st division bundesliga. That is an terrific accomplishent for a young 23 or 24 year old man. HIs compsure and poise is one of a kind and he should be the center of attention with the National side. Canada does have many other players that have his skill or basic awareness, but Julian is in a class of his own. His drive, determination and persistence have him where he is today. Canada made a wise decision in firing Holger and appointing frankie. Frankie has a level headed mine and knows how to earn the respect of his players and colleagues. Lets just hope that JD can live up to the hype that everyone is so anxious and anticipating the next upcoming years. You fellas at CSA, get on it...............its time for a championship. peace

Yeah same here!!..I was like, "in what trouble did JDG get into!!!"...what a relief!!...I think he`s an excellent prospect but our success in a WC won`t depend on him, I`d rather say RAdz is our "Kobe Bryant" and if he`s on fire `we`ll have a good chance of doing something decent in Germany as long as the whole team performs well. AJ
Folks........there was a big misunderstanding with the note that i posted...............when i compared Julian DeGuzman to Kobe Bryant, I was talking about the way Kobe played and his dominance on the court......I was not making any sort of comparison to his legal issues of the Court......the point i was trying to make was the that on the court, Kobe Byrant is a clutch player. Just as Julian DeGuzman is a clutch player. I do apologize to anyone that offended for comparing Julian incorrectly to Kobe in a unprofessional manner. WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT, JULIAN DEGUZMAN IS LIKE THE MICHAEL JORDAN OF BASKETBALL.........WELL RESPECTED,DETERMINED, FOCUSED AND ON POINT LIKE JORDAN.
