Gian-Luca
China beats Hungary 2-1 in China, while England draw Japan 1-1 in England. Owen and Ono (the famous pop duet) with the goals.
nolando
Ono is a fantastic player...do you remember him running up and down the line in the Confederation Cup, smiling half the time he was playing? A real joy to watch and to coach by all accounts. Can't wait to see this guy playing top flight in England or Italy which will be sooner rather than later. DJT
Ono got the goal but it was created by some nice team play from several Japanese players, and perhaps poor defending from England. England have not won a match in almost 9 months. This is a bit different but, as another example of Asian sides doing well against European sides, Hong Kong runners-up Kitchee defeated Milan 2-1. Of course Milan are making their Asian tour without their Italian national team members, and both teams on this day added a few players from other clubs --- hence this is even more clearly a money-grab tour; it would seem the ChampionsWorld Series is not enough for Milan (I guess they want to poach even more players from other clubs). You mean these big world known clubs make these tours for money, not to spread the gospel of footie ? My world will never be the same []
