arthur_picton
Yes but you Canadians are far too honest and sportsman-like to pump half the team* with bromantan. *allegedly!

Still cant see Wales loosing though. Hey, the Scots weren't laughing when we drew first blood on them. Nor were the Germans. And it must be said that our manager at the time was a little less likely to use his subs than... well, name an unlikely event. You see, they were good enough to call up, but they were terrible players. (What's the German word for "diplomacy"? What? They don't?) As for Wales losing, that's a different story. I'm pretty sure you can have "no scorer" and "n/a" as options in the pool though. Perhaps Senor Mimglow can elucidate. Btw, Theo, please check my earlier post for the edits to my picks (scorer and final score). Thanks! Allez les Rouges, M@

Allez les Rouges, M@ I'll assume he was pushed [8D] I treat every prediction independently from one another. You could say a match finishes 0-0, but select first scorers for each team. All it does is display the lack or courage in one's convictions . So it's up to Arthur to show us if he's really confident in a 2-0 Wales victory, or if he's hedging his bets. canadiankick97
Don't want to copy marcl 19, but with no Giggs, I'll have to change the first Welsh scorer again! Bellamy it is. (Same time and still a strike)
arthur_picton
Ok, after tonights excellent defensive performance by us against Norway, I am confidently adjusting my prediction as requested!: CANADA... First Scorer - n/a Time of first canada goal - n/a How Canada's first goal was scored (Header, volley, etc...) - n/a Canada's first carded player - Bircham WALES... First Scorer - Earnie Time of first goal - 18 mins How Wales's first goal was scored (Header, volley, etc...) - Through-ball pass played by Koumas, finished sweetly by Earnie Wales's first carded player - Changed to Delaney. Final score - 2-0 Wales
arthur_picton
Oh, and canadiankick97, dont bet against Giggs turning up. His "injury" might just have cleared up by then, seeing as the game is just down the road for him.
Gian-Luca
Ok, why not..... Wales First scorer - Bellamy Time of Goal - 19th minute Method of Goal - Hand of God No Welsh Cards Canada First scorer - Iain Hume Time - 55th minute Method of goal - Direct Free Kick from 30 yards out caused by Welsh player fouling De Guzman on the ball First Canadian carded player - Watson (with Pozniak apparently not released by his club). I was going to predict a Canadian victory, but the increased chances of Watson playing for Canada (due to Pozniak's club not releasing him after all) suggests that may be more difficult to obtain. Canada's overdue for a draw (haven't had one in well over 2 years) 2-2 final. If Yallop calls up Tam at the last minute to replace Pozniak (please let it be so!) then 2-1 victory for Canada. We have to be honest & suspect that Watson is likely to cost us at least one goal if he plays right back.

Mimglow
Just as an aside, in all the matches Vancouver Fan has participated in for this pool, he's chosen the first Canadian scorer correctly. Check it out: http://members.rogers.com/mimglow/Vancouver%20Fan.htm For the record, he's chosen Radz for Wales.
