Cameron Wilson To Play For SAFIB selection

Ottawa, Ontario – On Sunday May 8, 2004 the English Schools’ Football Association will celebrate its 100th Anniversary and to mark the occasion, the Schools’ FA has organized a match pitting England vs. a selection from Schools’ Association Football International Board (SAFIB). SAFIB selected Cameron Wilson from Delta, BC to represent Canada at this prestigious event.

The match will take place at 15:00 (local time) at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK on the 8th of May. Wilson will depart for England on May 4 and will join his teammates in their first training session on Thursday, May 6.

SAFIB, originally created to attend to the needs of Schools’ Football in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, now includes the FA’s of most UEFA nations and has recently included both Canada (CONCACAF) and New Zealand (OCEANIA) to its Board.
