Guest Ed Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 Hot off the press: Wildfire sign Canadian Soccer Association Coach Calgary – The Calgary Wildfire announced today the signing of Canadian Soccer Association NTCP staff coach Peter Malakoane. Malakoane an A license coach is in charge of the Calgary hub of the CSA’s national Training Center. He brings over 20 years of coaching and playing experience to the team. “I’ m thrilled about the opportunity to work for this organization as it develops from the ground level,” exclaimed Peter. Malakoane will support head coach Lisa Unsworth in the coaching of Calgary’s elite female players during their inaugural season. “We are very excited to have Peter on board. He brings a wealth of experience in training high-level players and will prove to be an excellent addition to our coaching team”, says GM Glenn Ramsay. The Wildfire home debut is May 29 against the Arizona Heatwave at the Calgary Rugby Union.
