Fernando Aguiar did not get off the bench with Petit back early from injury, as Benfica fell 4-3 to Inter in San Siro. Benfica is out of the Uefa Cup after the scoreless draw in the first leg.

No more Canadians in European competitions.

Rapid Vienna had an Austria Cup game postponed today, think it was for weather.

Both travel to Manchester to cheer up with Canada.

Odd, I can't edit my own posts, clicked on quote instead. Problem on the board?

UPDATE:

The Watford website says that Elliott Godfrey came on in the 65th minute against Ipswitch Town Reserves, replacing French striker Hameur Bouazza (Godfrey's main competitor for a striking position at the club).

Some quotes from the official match report:

"...substitute Elliott Godfrey went close on several occasions in the second half."

"...the keeper made a spectacular save from a Godfrey header following Anthony McNamee’s excellent cross."

"'They only threatened a couple of times in both halves while their keeper was by far the busier, making one great save particularly from Elliott.'

According to "socci" on the other forum, Waldemar Dutra started for NK Osijek on Wednesday, March 24 and played very well. This was a Croatian Cup Quarterfinal, Second Leg match at Dinamo Zagreb, which the host team won 3-1 to take the series 5-1 on aggregate.

Canadians in Italy - March 24

[*]Serie D: Monterotondo 1-1 Isola Liri (David Masciantonio)

Masciantonio started and played the entire match. He scored Isola Liri's goal in the 90th minute, but Monterotondo came back with the equalizer in the 94th. (This match was originally scheduled for January 11 but was postponed due to stadium problems. Shortly thereafter Isola Liri were awarded a win by default, but then later it was controversially taken back and the match was ordered to be played.)
