canadiankick97
For those of us who dont have FSWC, it will not be possible to see the Tranmere Millwall game on Sunday. Instead Sportsnet will be showing Rugby Club. Hasn't Sportsnet always shown four F.A cup games during the weekend? Why break the trend now when it is most important? Am I being to greedy in asking to see Tranmere? After all 3 games is quite a bit for Canadian standards.
SeanKeay
Its just typical Sportsnet, playing the big two (Arse and Man u) before Canadian content.... But yes all 4 games is alot to ask for.. tho hume should be on tv!
DJT
I'm just guessing but maybe Sportsnet doesn't have the rights to pick and choose whichever matches they want?
canadiankick97
Good point DJT. I guess it's possible. Maybe that's why we never get to see any of Radz' games on TV.
JayWay
Why are people complaining about Canadian soccer content on Sportsnet? We should be happy, not bitter! Firstly, DJT is right. Sportsnet does not choose which games to air. But hey, look at Soccercentral. Tons of great Cdn content; and all this in the face of, what I'm sure, is huge pressure from all the pseudo Euro's writing in saying, "what's with all these interviews with Cdn nobodies? Beckham ate at IHOF yesterday, we want complete coverage!"
WildboutCdnScr
Exactly. Sure, I've shelled out for my FSWC and it is worth every penny. I'll be up at 6 a.m. (MST) tomorrow to check Tranmere out. I'm grateful for every chance I get to watch soccer on Sportsnet or FSWC. I remember the dark ages all too well.

Yes, FSWC gets certain games including the Tranmere match live at 7am (CST., 8 am EST). But Sportsnet is showing Sheffield United (Pesch) vs. Sunderland, so it isn't bad. Plus Werder Bremen also plays later in the morning on FSWC, so enjoy everyone! Quite sad that CBC and TSN are completely useless whe it comes to Canadian (or games with Canucks) soccer...
