Jarrek
From the Lynx Jan 8th Season Schedule Release PR "Due to our Canadian weather, the Lynx will once again have to start their season on the road with 4 games before the home opener. The first road game will take place against the expansion Puerto Rico Islanders in their inaugural A-League match on Saturday, April 17th. This match will be followed closely with a match versus the Rochester Raging Rhinos in their home opener on Saturday, May 1st" The Lynx will play their first home game on May 16th. Surely the weather 250km south east can't be THAT much different can it?

As far as I know, its actually much more likely to snow in Rochester than Toronto at that time of year since Rochester is in a snow-belt. People that make these kind of statements are from the same breed as Americans who bring winter clothing with them when travelling to Canada in July!
