hamiltonfan
posted by by Steve Comte on the other board Scottish team to play in Quebec City http://www.deveronvalet.co.uk/ Deveronvale have confirmed that the club will be running a two-week training camp in Canada in July 2004. The camp schedule for Quebec City will see the team play A-league squad Calgary Mustangs at Quebec City’s University of Laval’s Stadium. Matches against local squads Dynamo du Quebec and Rive Sud FC, Racing Montreal North are also on tap. Talks are underway to play the Ottawa Wizards, the Canadian Professional Soccer League’s flagship franchise, at the 35,000 seat Frank Clair Stadium, in the Canada’s national capital. Manager Greg Carol originally from Ste Foy, Canada looks at the time in Canada as a great way to develop Deverinvale’s marketing viability in North America. “Once we enter the Scottish Premier Division, we will need new revenues streams to buy the type of quality players we will need. Every scarf, hat and jersey sold, represent one pound extra for our dream” Fans are welcome to follow the club to Canada by booking through Deverinvale’s official travel broker’s Twister McFeddils. Cooks
Steve has to work harder at making his stories believable. Too many spelling mistakes and giant leaps of fancy. Nice try, though :-)
