Marco Reda scored off a corner scuffle to tie Brann 1-1 for Sogndal m. 9 in Norway action tonight, but the team was whipped 6-1 in the end. Marco was injured in the first half and again 2nd, subbed out m. 57.

With this loss Sogndal slip to 4th in the league, a win would have kept them close to second. In any case Rosenborg is running away with the show in Norway, looking for something like their 10th straight league championship.

Re weekend games in 2nd tier, Milan Kojic did not play in the 2-3 loss for Haugesund vs. Baerum. He seems to have been injured in a recent match.maybe midweek last week. In any case he is the team member with the best ratings average on www.vg.no.

For Moss both Bernier and Friend played 90, with as commented Friend getting a goal in the first half for the definitive 1-1 tie. Bernier had a better player rating than Friend however.

What's that, four (4) for Reda this season? Not bad.

A farily large number of Canucks played in England today (Monday). Hume, Rogers, Bent, & Bircham (if ya count him). Bent and Rogers played 90, Hume and Bircham subbed out second half. Rogers almost scored but for a great save according to the match reports. I probably missed one or two although none of the relevant 1st Division sides played today.
