Mimglow
I fell on my *ss when I saw this quote... Jack Warner, commenting on the new Home Depot Centre in L.A. He attended the match. "I was impressed, never in my wildest imagination did I ever think I would see this." "This is the first MLS game I've ever seen and the quality was good." You mean to tell me that Jack Warner, the President of CONCACAF, has never seen a match from the top tier of club play in his confederation? That's like Lennart Johanssen saying "It's the first time I see a match from the Spanish Primera. Boy, can those guys play!" UNBELIEVABLE!!!! beachesl
You might have some Mexicans who would tke issue with your glowing characterization of MLS as "the top tier of club play" in the CONFEDERATION. The MLS teams still have a lot to prove. It is amazing that Warner hadn't been to a MLS game yet though. The more I hear about that guy, the less I'm impressed. Mimglow
Acknowledged. Wow, I can't believe he hadn't been to an MLS game. I'm still shaking my head. If he had waited a month, I would have beat him to it as I'm gonna see the Revs in Boston during the Gold Cup. STILL shaking my head.
