    • 100%. I was actually hoping that we would call him in for Panama. Would’ve been a perfect opportunity to give him a game, say thanks, and let him ride off into the sunset. He’s certainly good enough to play for us again, at least in friendlies. Plus, with our guys having gone around to a few different practice fields in Montreal yesterday, I think Borjan is the perfect type to show up to a park and help kids out with some tips.    Don’t think we’ll see that though, new coach, old guard is all but filtered out of our set up, I think the time has passed. But he’s a Canadian legend, it’s a shame that it will probably take some time for him to get the recognition he deserves here.
    • I love that!  Big Borjan fan over here.  I’m okay with moving on from him in the National program although I’d probably still have him as one of the three keepers at this stage.  I hope to see him get a at least one more game with Canada back in Toronto or Hamilton.
    • This is where I am at. Very happy with our 3 keepers all being starters at MLS level. None of these guys need to leave IMO. My gut says we don't get a top 6 league keeper via MLS to Europe. I think it'll be someone already in Europe, possibly someone we don't even know about yet.
    • Honestly, everyone other than David has struggled. Larin seems to be finally turning it around. Has helped that Muriqi has been injured so Larin playing time has risen. Tani production has dropped tremendously after that tear before Copa. Moved to bench role for a bunch of the recent games JRR has produced but just can't seem to get playing time on that stacked Columbus team Bair had a rough start to the season. So nice that he scored last game. Also went from a starter to bench role Ugbo I think his time with the national program is over, unless he goes on a tear. He hasn't looked great for SW this year Kulenovic - new shiny toy that I am excited to see. Him and Bair are large, imposing strikers which we don't really have. I was hoping he would of been called this camp but Lopez and Poku were
    • It’s funny that aside from Kone, all of our top tier league players are either defenders or strikers, doesn’t make for quite entertaining games unless there are goals or in the case of Bombito, Cornelius and to some extent Davies, an amazing individual effort in breaking up a play. If Zhegrova was a Canadian, watching Lille would be so much more interesting, even though it’s not always good, he’s doing *something*. But ultimately the goals are what make you a club legend, and at this point, whatever happens to David, I think it’s guaranteed that he will depart Lille as one of their all time greats- having one of our local guys be one of the legends at such a historic club will be great to look back on.
