    • From what I understand this will NOT be connected to Canada Soccer Business in any way.
    • https://www.royalgazette.com/soccer/sport/article/20210301/lambe-availability-a-major-boost-ahead-of-canada-test/   Former tfc man Reggie Lambe is playing after his non league season was abandoned. Bermuda begins a training camp tomorrow. The article mentions the availability of Wells is up in the air.

    • The SKSSS was rumored to have been a potential tester summer tournament last year. This is certainly an exciting development although I am also confused as to how it relates to other leagues like L1 and the new BC league. Does this just fill out the gap in between or sit above? I guess we shall see when its formally announced.  Absolutely fantastic they are doing the best thing with a mens and womens league at the same time. The latter which could be the stepping stone to the womens cpl.
    • That's too close to the international break unless they are playing in Canada. They'd have to play by March 17. When did Forge camp open?
    • The rumour was Marseille, as Gailtier is from there, but they have already brought in the new manager. In fact I think Lille face Marseille on the next match day.  There may be other clubs in for him in the summer, but I don't think we'll see a change of manager at Lille. I actually think that is good for David. Not great, but not the worst situation to have a manager who will give you chances, as Galtier has done. If Lille somehow manage to win the league, it will be nothing short of a miracle. If they do or at least come close, perhaps they will generate enough interest to sell off Ikone and/or Bamba. Perhaps Yazici too. Maybe they'll even sell David, though that's unlikely unless he catches fire to round out the season. If David does stay, I really hope Lille makes changes and puts in a new style of play. I sometimes wonder of Galtier is captive to the players he has.... Does anyone know what his coaching style was like at St. Etienne?
    • Anytime my man... My father was born, raised in Guyana, has several properties there and visit often. So I know exacttttllyyyy what you are talking about. However second generation Canadians, who are also millennials often don't share the same/keep views that they were raised upon, no matter how much it is "enforced"....And that is not specific to Guyana. It's just being raised in the GTA specifically. (There's obviously anomalies - but not in the professional sports spaces).
    • I'd love to pick your brain further brother.
    • Oliver Platt is speculating the match might be Easter weekend.  That would mean the winner would need to travel to Mexico right after the game basically
    • Agree on Waterman. Only downside is that he is out of season, like all domestic players. With Kennedy likely out I think we call James. I am not sure we start James though. Give me Vitoria and whoever earns the right to play alongside him. If that's an out of season Waterman or Miller over James, so be it. All of that said, Zator is playing games. Can't discount that entirely.
