Couldn't make the Vancouver v Halifax game tonight. What wasn't the attendance?

VFC crowd was announced at 4038 I think. Although I think there was more there.

I'm not sure they did. We bought tickets for the east stand (four people) and got upgraded to the west stand. Much better seats actually. So perhaps this is just a coincidence.

Had a great time out there today. I haven't seen the highlights or replays, but I thought Vancouver was really good. A win helps put butts in seats, a big win does one better, but a big win they played well to earn takes the cake. I thought the atmosphere was good, and that is a promising crowd. Granted we were at the park, but I saw lots of team gear.

In Europe and elsewhere, do "away" fans but their tickets from their own club who have been given an allotment? Will be interesting to see how both sides handle this (if it happens). Hate to see the Events Centre full of caps fans, but certainly would expect a section. And would love to go to bc place as part of VFC section. If it happens of course. I know York played TFC and am not sure how it went. But seeing Vancouver v Vancouver on the ticker would add a layer of intrigue not seen in Canada I suspect.

Great weather in the forecast with clear skies and a high of 14-18. Perfect weather. Nice to have an early evening start, can't wait to see the place in action!

Have they declared who is hosting that game?

Forecast looks excellent for Langley tomorrow, hopefully that makes for a great crowd.

I don't think it matters how the bottom half of the table does. EPL teams are better than Serie A teams because their top teams win. If the thirteenth best Serie A team was better than the thirteenth best EPL team, that wouldn't matter. MLS has a lot of work to do. Also, I don't think that Mexican teams are no longer assumed to win. To me they still are, despite the Sounders winning once.

Is MLS making no progress, or is the Mexican league progressing at the same rate? Also, where can I find MLS vs LigaMX statistics?

A really nice second top for the club. I like that it's a real contrast to their fist choice, unlike last year. I've said it before, that I think the league doesn't have enough contrasting colours for the teams in their games. I'm hopeful this is a sign of changes in that regard.

I don't know how I feel about all this. I'm not enough of a tactician to critique Biello. I want a manager who the players will play for. If that's Biello, then so be it. But the players need to buy in. Play for Biello or be jaded by Ancelotti (or other)? I'd pick the first one.

I actually think they looked worse on the pitch. The different reds didn't work for me, same with the weird business under the arms. These need a Copa America trophy to have them be memorable. Otherwise they're a dud (the reds that is. I'll wait to see the whites on the pitch).
