Peralta played RB for Honduras in the olympics and was responsible for marking Neymar. Neymar ran rampant down that wing most of the game.
solid signing. more solid young PROs (rather than naive college players) is what TFC needs to make a quick jump up the standings. a solid player on a good Honduran olympic team. This will help.
i think once we know where he is going to be played it will mean a lot more to us as followers. frings is likley to return due to contract, and the high dollar payout to sever ties. if parelta is put into a mf role -assuming frings is back-we have an interesting combination of speed, skill, experinec b/w the 2 mf players. we need to build the mf ...i think this could be v positive??...jmo

Peralta could be a great signing. He's got great stats and can still improve a lot. I only hope he'll get that chance at TFC, cause if Mariner looses the first two games you can be sure that he'll only play veterans. Btw even if you have Frings, you do need some back-up. And maybe Frings is not even coming back, for all we know.

We'll see. Guevara was a box to box mid?? Interesting.
I've seen him play. I mean he won't replace Frings in terms of talent, obviously, but the hope is that TFC would lose Frings and stop paying DP money for defensive mids. In that regard, I think if the idea is to do that, then it would probably be a good signing.

He's also been selected for the Honduran senior team ahead of the Central American Cup later this month. It's not exactly their first team but it bodes well that he's considered good enough to be on it. Played at the olympics and in most of their 2012 wcq games as well. yes, including that one.
