The Whitecaps Residency USSDA season kicks off this weekend and youth and women's development are key talking points on this week's show. Joining us on the phone first is <b>Andrew Latham</b> of the Lower Island Soccer Association and Vancouver Island Wave of the BCSPL.

Andrew talks about both the opportunities and difficulties faced in their first season in the League, some Whitecaps players to watch out for, their upcoming womens coaching clinic and his beloved Sheffield Wednesday.
The young Caps schedule in the USSDA almost makes the fixture makers in MLS seem sane, but the NASL is making a late bid to have the weirdest schedule of next year with their announcement of a split season.
Joining us on the phone to discuss that, Edmonton FC and the huge success that is the Whitecaps reserves team in San Antonio is the <a href="http://www.the11.ca" target="_blank">11.ca's</a> <b>Steven Sandor</b>.
