    • I really enjoyed this interview. He seems like a good guy. Hopefully he keeps moving upward as he aspires to do.
    • I wonder if signing Etienne will mean less playing time for JMR
    • I don't know man...I know he's 19, but I need to see more from him. That assist to Owusu seemed more like a good decision vs an intentional assist. The penalty he drew I was like "square it, square it"...before he fumbled on the ball and fortunately drew a PK after fucking up the play.
    • Probably naming the Bundesliga teams I think he’d fit best on next season.    But no, I think him having his best game of the year against the best team he’s faced in the most important game of the year so far is huge. The goal he scored- a crafty header off a cross is also a type of goal we don’t really see Jonathan David score too which bodes well for plugging him into late game scenarios too. It’s just one game, but great sign for where he’s heading. I actually think Columbus is a better spot to develop than a lot of the typical first move abroad teams our guys go to. It’s less about just developing the player, he has to actually produce because they have title and now continental aspirations. You have to think this Columbus team could actually hang with a pretty high level of club in Europe too.
    • I mean would it be something like he's ready to replace Larin? Reality is, we have a few guys who are being primed for when that time comes...JRR, Bair, Promise few names I may have missed.
    • Was  impressed with his play when he  subbed in vs T&T. Made smart passes and has good vision of where his teammates were on the field. Has had good production at Columbus and Nancy needs to find a way to get him into the starting lineup on  a consistent basis. For our U17s he stood out as a clinical finisher at the #9 position, but he is now showing that he is also a good playmaker.
    • If he plays like this during the away leg in Mexico, I might start saying some outlandish things about his potential.
    • We know why.   Solskjær is interesting, had some great and horrible moments at Man U but never really looked in charge, in my memory.  Not great at Cardiff and a did decently in 2 longish stretches at Molde, which is the only place he won senior trophies (not sure if we judge that the same as Marsch in Austria) But certainly worked with some of the best in the world.  Whether that juice translate outside Man U circles, not sure.  It's been a long time since he coached and a very long time for his playing days to be a factor in garnering respect.  Tactically? Can't say I remember much other than standard 4231, relying good to excellent mobile forwards and very good #10s.   Respectfully its not a strength and has been a weakness.  Doing "whatever" with Davies is not what we need, for instance. We need a clear defined plan with what to do with our talented players.  The cart leading the horse is what made a road even tougher at the World Cup and saw us struggle afterwards.
    • I could see him playing up top with J. David. The "Double D's" line.😄
